Interviews to discuss student progress will be conducted during Weeks 3 and 4 of this term. Given the fact that the NSW Department of Education COVID-19 guidelines stipulate that parents are not allowed onsite at present, interviews will be conducted using the ‘Zoom’ video-conferencing platform, or by telephone. Parents may opt to participate in a ‘Three-way Conference’, with students sharing in the discussion of their achievements, and in such instances it is expected that the conferences will be conducted using ‘Zoom’ to allow for the necessary interaction between all participants. Alternatively, parents can opt to speak with their child’s teacher over the telephone, without their child being present.
This year’s Woy Woy Public School Athletics Championships will have to be conducted in line with the NSW Department of Education’s COVID 19 guidelines. We regret to inform you that parents will not be allowed to attend the event, since McEvoy Oval will essentially become a Department of Education site for the duration of the championships. However it is a compulsory event for all students Years 3-6. Students in Year 2 that are turning 8 this year may attend.
