Your classroom teacher is Mr Campbell.
The junior ED class has 6 students, who have moderate to severe emotional needs. The students are supported by a Teacher and a School Learning Support Officer. The students attend between 9am and 2pm each day. Each student works from an Individual Learning Program, catering specifically to their needs. Our differentiated curriculum focuses on literacy, reading, writing and numeracy.
The students are encouraged to participate in all activities within the class, such as cooking, sport, yoga and relaxation sessions. Behaviour and social skill development are also a priority, with students learning to join in and be a good friend. The classroom is a supportive environment to assist the students to engage in the wider community.
