K/6W is a class that caters for up to seven pupils that have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. All students follow an Individual Learning Program which has been constructed with the input of the teacher and parents.
All the students follow the mainstream curriculum with a particular focus on social and communication skills.
We offer many external activities for our pupils which include horse riding, gymnastics, community access and cooking. We provide opportunities for our students to participate in mainstream schooling which includes class integration, sport, carnivals, assemblies, lunch and recess play.
