Dear Parents and Carers,
A big “shout out” to all our parents and carers who have been able to pick up work packages for their children today ready for Term 2. Congratulations on the way you have adhered to our hygiene and social distancing requirements when entering the school site. It was wonderful to have that individual connection (one on one from a distance) with our families for that fleeting moment when you picked up the work packages for your children and just to be able to share a smile and ask safely, “Are you okay?”
We are looking forward to seeing all of your Easter Hat creations tomorrow for our digital Easter Hat parade. It will be quite a different way to do things but will be a lot of fun. We can all use some fun right now. Good luck with those hat creations from items you can find around the house. Let your imagination run wild.
Our school will be moving into the Zoom platform for video connection with children and their families to better support learning from home. We are asking parents and carers to sign a permission note for each of their children to be able to be a part of this. We will be also issuing some very important guidelines around the use of Zoom to make sure our students stay safe whilst online. Those who have been coming to collect work packages today have been given a permission note to sign for their child if they are in agreement. We have attached that permission note below. Please print and return to your classroom teacher.

Once again “hang in there”, we are all doing our bit to flatten that curve by making sure we wash hands and keep our distance from each other. Together we will get through.
